My name is Kelsie Young, I am a Mi’kmaq artist from Qalipu Mi’kmaq First Nations from Newfoundland, Canada. I learned the traditional art of basket weaving, dreamcatchers and wooden flower making from a Chief from the Bear River First Nations in Nova Scotia, Canada.
I have a passion for art and business. I spend my days weaving dreamcatchers, teaching private yoga practices, and leading smudging ceremonies and workshops, as well as helping new businesses with marketing, social media, and web design. I have been making dreamcatchers for over 3 years and in 2017, I became a Yoga Alliance certified teacher.
