Trish McLaughlin

Ojibway

My name is Trish McLaughlin, I am an Ojibway artist currently residing in Toronto, ON. Since I was little, I have always loved making & wearing jewellery. I embraced all fads including gimp, embroidery, friendship bracelets, phone wire, and hemp. Since moving to Toronto, I have managed a couple jewellery stores and worked at a hand bag store. Being Indigenous/Canadian, I have added a bit of nature inspired flair to most of my designs. The name Miikana (pronounced Me-Kan-a) means a road or a trail in Ojibway.
