Blackfeet Nation

My name is Yolanda Swearinger, I am a Blackfeet artist who grew up on the Blackfeet Reservation in Badgercreek, Montana. I created a line of leather moccasins and handbags for adults and childrenMy Grandmother, Mary taught me to tan and prepare moccasins when I was very young. Mary used to make moccasins for the children who went without shoes on their reservation. My main goal is to teach children as I feel it's important to pass this knowledge onto future generations.
