The IAC shared our Ohné:ka Healing Project and our love for the Water through Water testing demonstrations, our Educator's Resource Guide curriculum, and our community paddleboard mural!

Community members were invited to share their messages of healing, love, and appreciation for the Water, and took time to reflect on Her health and importance, not only for us, but for the next generations who will inherit our world. We are grateful to be able to combine art and environmental education in a way that engages young people and the broader community. We were also fortunate enough to display one of the student-led paddleboard murals facilitated by the Kingston Native Centre and Language Nest youth group.

We can’t wait to continue this project through more on-the-water paddles and paddleboard painting!
