Akwesasne National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

Thank you to the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne, the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe, and Akwesasronon Sonatanoron for welcoming our project into your Orange Shirt Day.
The Ohné:ka Healing Project was fortunate enough to bring in another paddle board to the community of Akwesasne in honor of the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. This board was painted with community member's handprints, names, and words of love. It was amazing to see the community come together to create such a beautiful mural.
This board, along with the 9 other painted boards will be exhibited at the Kingston Pumphouse Museum until November. Check it out!
