We were honored to be able to share our completed paddle board murals at the Indigenous Women's Arts Conference in Ottawa. Thank you to the St. Laurent Shopping Centre for allowing us to display our boards and share our project at this event. It was an incredible experience seeing so many Indigenous women and artists gathered together and interacting with our mural and information booth. We provided free copies of our Haudenosaunee Water and Environmental curriculum, and facilitated one last community paddle board mural on our Moon-themed board. Community members and passerby's were encouraged to write messages of love, healing and hope to the Water, and it was beautiful seeing these messages alongside our other community and youth-led boards.
