Due to my parent's careers, my early days were pretty nomadic and I ended up being instructed by Anishinaabe and Mi'kwaq Elders as well, while living a few miles from the Eel Ground Reservation in Miramichi, New Brunswick. I was also attending cultural revival retreats for Indigenous youth in Nova Scotia. This base of education was eventually molded with about two decades of self directed Art History studies, centred around 'Art Nouveau' style, resulting in the 'Possible Artifact recovered from the tomb of an Ancient Witch King' aesthetic that I now possess. My creations are absolutely one of a kind, no two is exactly alike.
