Sydney is a member of the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte and lives in Kingston, Ontario where she is an emerging artist who enjoys sketching and painting.

In 2025, Sydney painted and hosted a community paddle board mural as part of the Ohné:ka Healing Project on Indigenous People's Day in Kingston and her work is currently on display at the PumpHouse Museum.
