Alicia is a contemporary Indigenous artist from the Algonquin and Tahltan Nations, proudly based in Ottawa, Ontario. A graduate of a prestigious high school vocal program in Ottawa, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Music degree from Carleton University, specializing in Classical voice and popular-style songwriting.
Her artistry and powerful vocals have led to numerous notable performances, including taking the stage at Vancouver Indigenous Fashion Week in 2024, and opening for Crystal Shawanda and William Prince at the Wiikwemkoong Festival in 2025.
Alicia is advancing her music career by creating her debut album with Crystal Shawanda’s label, New Sun Music, located in Nashville. As a young Indigenous musician, Alicia is committed to empowering Anishinabe women and youth and bringing her voice to mainstream music.
