I am a Mi'kmaw artist with deep, multi-generational roots in Mi'kma'ki (Nova Scotia). I am specifically a textile artist and garment maker with two years of experience in clothing construction and structured design.

Rather than relying on commercial patterns, I work primarily through direct manipulation of textiles, occasionally drafting a few custom patterns of my own to bring a concept to life. Most of my pieces are one-of-a-kind. There are a few generic pieces I can make similar; however, I brand myself as offering unique limited pieces.

My practice centers on a deep appreciation for textile nature stories when working with leathers and furs, and high-quality construction. I work across a demanding range of materials, balancing the delicate handling of silk chiffon, matte satin, and structured tulles with the precise execution required for heavy, tactile fabrics like boiled wool, jacquard, and traditional tweed.

A core element of my work involves specialized leather fabrication using deer and moose hides. This requires technical equipment and a strong understanding of how different hides behave to ensure every piece is durable and beautifully finished. By blending raw, traditional materials with modern garment construction, I focus on creating high-quality, wearable art defined by clean lines and technical precision
