A Healing Gathering for Sixties Scoop Survivors.

Ottawa, November 3-8th, 2026

This application invites artists, healers and volunteers to apply as facilitators, spiritual guides and mental health support. We also welcome volunteers to fill out this form.

You will be notified once we reviewed all applications (likely by September 1, 2026).

Other name (Legal Name/Government Issued Name) This name is where you would like payment to go or other formal communications.
You will be required to submit proof of identity to participate and/or work with the IAC and our events/programming. Volunteers can be allies but will not be able to participate in areas where sensitive cultural knowledge and stories are being shared.
Facilitators are not required to be a survivor but preference given to survivors in some positions.
We have spaces for healers (spiritual, seers, massage, reiki, etc.) and workshop facilitators. We also invite volunteers. You must be Indigenous and will be required to submit proof (Identification).

Preference is given to IAC members who would like to present a traditional Indigenous art workshop. Membership is not required for other roles.
Please give us an idea of your fee below and separate time from materials and travel. Include duration of workshop/session (1 hour, 3 hours, 2 days, etc.). Our mandate is to ensure that artists are paid well. You are also encouraged to submit a formal quote in the space below or by email to: dawn@indigenousartscollective.org

For our administrative purposes, we would like you to write a short letter of commitment. If you'd like to participate as a workshop facilitator, healer or volunteer, please take a moment to explain why it's important to you. This may be used in gathering materials, grant applications, etc. but your personal information will never be shared publicly (address/phone/email etc.).
