My name is Amanda Edmonds, I am a member of St. Mary's First Nation. I grew up in a home disconnected from culture, however, my mother taught me to be creative by teaching me to sew and craft. I’ve always been creative with different art forms and once I picked up the needle, I couldn't put it down. Recently, I attended art classes with local knowledge keepers and hope to continue my path in creating art that makes me feel closer to my culture.
