My name is Anna Thompson and I am Mohawk from the Akwesasne Reservation. I am a full-time nurse in our community and I bead in the evenings and on my days off. I've always had an interest in beading ever since I could remember. Beading is my passion and helps me to stay grounded. I have now been beading for 42 years and I still get excited when trying something new.
