My name is April, and I am a First Nations storyteller, powwow dancer, and women's fancy shawl dancer.

I love performing and storytelling because they are creative outlets in which I can share my creativity and passion for Indigenous arts and traditions. By working as an Indigenous storyteller and performer at the same time, it has really proven that anything is possible if I believe in myself. I hope to continue on this path of success on my journey.
