Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte

My name is Beth Queau, I am a Mohawk artist currently residing in Dryden, ON. For as long as I can remember, I was beading before I knew that I was Indigenous due to being adopted. In 2010, I found my family through the adoption registry.

Since then I have embraced my culture and my art, incorporating both Mohawk and Ojibwe styles into my beading work. My teachers include my sister, Callie, connections made through the International Iroquois Beadwork Conference (IIBC), Joy Brant, Sharon John, and others.
