Hello there, my name is Chantelle Henry!

I am currently 25 years old living in a big city. I grew up on the rez until the age 16/17. I left my home at a young age due to living in a bad environment, and I wanted to pursue academic studies.

When I left home, I experienced a loss of connect to my culture and community. As way to reconnect to my community and Indigenous peers again, I began beading in high school and never stopped.

My favourite type of beadwork is brick stitch and I love beading the web of dreamcatcher and the work that goes into it !
