I am a Woodland Cree woman and a member of the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation in Treaty 8 Territory.  I am a mother of a daughter and a son and I enjoy sewing and beading regalia for them to dance in.  I enjoy the use of creating unique color combinations and textures in my work.  I try to not confine my work to a present idea but rather allow my mind, body and spirit to guide the creation...I am just the hands that follow.
