IACC and Canada Post

IACC Membership Benefits from Canada Post

IACC has been working closely with Canada Post on an agreement that will see significant shipping discounts for IACC members. It will also acknowledge the tax exemptions we are entitled to under the Indian Act.

We are very proud to do this work for you and excited to see where this journey leads and how we can provide better tools for all members.

In order to move forward in this corporate agreement with Canada Post, the IACC needs a little information from members to establish a geographic picture, that is, to get an idea where everyone is shipping from. Your information will not be shared with anyone outside of IACC and Canada Post (regarding our private agreement). As always, IACC does not store member information on line anywhere nor do we share it with any other organizations or governments.

Please help us move forward to big discounts by answering a few easy questions below.

Registered Indians under the Indian Act ARE ENTITLED to tax exemptions including Canada Post costs. Canada Post Reconciliation Strategy is an investment in providing discounted and improved services to Indigenous artist members of the IACC. This is an agreement with IACC only, Canada Post does not offer this to any other Indigenous arts organizations. Additionally, IACC funding is mandated for Indigenous peoples only. In times of low funding, priority is given to on reserve artists and the needs of Indigenous women.
