I am Cree from Nekaneet First Nation outside of Maple Creek, SK. I learned how to bead in early 2019 at Miywasin Friendship Centre here in Medicine Hat, AB, where I've lived for most of my life. I feel a very strong connection to my Indigenous culture, even though I wasn't raised around it. I love learning about it and try to do my best to be honorable when creating these pieces.
