My name is Jessica Dumont, I'm an Algonquin artist residing in Ottawa, ON. My community is Kitigan Zibi First Nation. Growing up in the city, beadwork has been a way for me to stay connected to my culture. I've spent the last 14 years working for Indigenous organizations in Ottawa. That has given me the opportunity to share my skills and learn new techniques from community members.
