Princess Heart Designs is an Indigenous owned business located in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Jessica Rabbitskin is Plains Cree First Nation woman from Big River First Nation. She started beading in 2018 and launched her business in 2020 and sold through small markets in the region. In 2020 she began marketing through her Facebook page and as a result was able to continue operating her business throughout the pandemic. It quickly became obvious that her company was filling a need for authentic Indigenous arts. The market trend is indicating that as more Indigenous people begin to display their work, more buyers are becoming interested and looking for high quality products.
