My life has been a journey of learning. I was born, raised, and still live off reserve on Vancouver Island. On my 16th birthday we were reunited with my mother’s biological family to spread her mother's ashes. I unfortunately never met my grandmother, but I am her first born grandchild and we share a birthday.

It's been years of searching for information about my roots. I've worked within the communities around me, soaking up all the knowledge and teachings I can. I started beading lanyards and horseshoe dream catchers a couple years ago. This year I've been using a loom as well to make beaded horse tack. I make all my patterns myself, sometimes freehand but usually using grid paper. I love making custom pieces that are one of a kind and unique.
