My name is Karen Begay, I am from the Navajo Tribe. My clans are Nakai Diné and Ta'nezahii. My art work was mostly inspired by my Grandmother who was a rug weaver through out her whole life. I learned about sand paintings by going to many ceremonies and watching the medicine men make them.
