My name is Larry Parenteau, my spirit name is Wakeeya (Thunder). I am a Cree artist and a member of Witset First Nation.

The spirit world is a major theme in my art and great healing comes from painting. We are all the Creator’s children and I believe we must share and care for the sake of our child. Currently, I reside in British Columbia.
