My name is Lindsay Myers, I am a Métis artist. I was not raised in the traditions of my people or those of the land I reside. I did not receive my art teachings in this sense. I am primarily self-taught with some University.

For the past 23 years, I have been searching to understand the voice inside me - a voice in a language I cannot hear or understand. I am often sketching what I hear, drawing what I dream. These are the images I paint, stories from guiding ancestors I long to learn about. A connection to my culture and people.
