My name is Lynette Dawson, I am a self-taught Algonquin artist residing on Ucluelet First Nation. Most of my art reflects my experiences with the creatures living above and below the surface. I love showing people the things that live here; but mostly I love expressing how important our oceans are and how everything is connected. I am focused on creating bold, colourful work showcasing the aquatic life I encounter.
