Since moving back to Northern Ontario, I have reconnected with my Indigenous roots. I hunt, fish, trap and have learned traditional practices and proper harvesting by teaching from Elders, extended family and other knowledge holders.

I've always been crafty and learned how to bead by watching videos and other artists. With lots of attempts and practice. I thoroughly enjoy creating and learning new techniques. I pass on what I have learned and share my knowledge with my Daughter.

Embracing my culture has brought me much joy and healing.
