Sharifah Marsden

Mississaugas of Scugog Island Ontario

Sharifah Marsden is an Anishinaabe artist from the Mississaugas of Scugo Island First Nation, Ontario. She draws from her Anishinaabe roots, creating works from her knowledge of the Woodland style of art and her experience with creating beadwork and regalia.

To create works that include acrylic paintings on canvas, beadwork, prints and silver jewelry. She has been teaching her knowledge of arts for the past ten years, passing on her knowledge of leatherwork, beadwork, painting and jewelry.
