I started carving for a museum in Churchill Manitoba in 1968 where I produced items of sale. In February 1982 I entered (6th Northern Juried Art Show - The Pas, Manitoba) a few pieces of Walrus Ivory Sculptures and won 1st place and best of show for my Ivory Dove.

Since then, I have only made pieces for private collections or custom request. Now retired, I only do a very few custom requests. My Ivory stash was from the local Ivory bin in Churchill and was 5 to 50 years old. It included Narwal (no more) therefore making my stash of ivory 60 to 100 years old.

I would hope to share my art and sell the odd piece during my golden years.
