My name is Sue Allen-Forget, I am a Cree artist from Muskrat Dam First Nations. I was born in Thunder Bay and adopted at birth. Growing up, my adoptive mother was very artistic as well as most of my family members. After high school, I was enrolled at The Ontario College of Art in Toronto where I studied drawing, painting and sculpture. Later on, I earned my degree in Fine Arts and decided to further my education at Trent University for Indigenous studies where I was immersed in Indigenous culture.
