My name is Lisa Beaucage and my family is originally from the Chippewas of Nawash and Batchawana. I am currently settled in Algonquin territory. Currently, I am starting my Ph.D. at Carleton University attempting to create a program to properly implement the Calls to Action within the government.

I also have a Masters's degree in Canadian Indigenous policy from Trent where I specialized in Indigenous Land claims and mineral rights. I started beading by accident after I bought a beading kit from Sage Sisters. My sister then help me perfect it with tips and tricks along the way and now I have a full room dedicated to just beads. I love playing with purples and turquoise and am more than happy to work with people to create custom earrings they will love for years to come.
