We're super exciting to e-meet you and look forward to our journey together. LET'S GET SELLING!

You will need to apply for membership with our non-profit organization before you can open your store on IndigenARTSY.

STEP 1. To register for IACC membership (mandatory), go to: https://indigenousartscollective.org/free-membership-page/

STEP 2. To register your store at IndigenARTSY, go to: https://indigenartsy.com/vendor-terms-and-policies/

Are you Indigenous? Can you confirm that you are related by blood to living Indigenous people? Are you connected to an Indigenous reserve/community/nation by blood? The Indigenous Arts Collective of Canada (IndigenARTSY) retains the right to reject membership and vendor application based on the evidence that an artist submits regarding identity. This non profit organization is for Indigenous artists only. The funding we are granted is specifically for Indigenous people and must be spent on the terms it was granted. We commit our resources to Indigenous artists only, and are very proud of our large artist membership.
While we will not define who identifies as Indigenous, we ask that artists belong to, or have a connection to a certain Indigenous territory or community. In some cases, we will reach out to Indigenous communities to confirm these connections. Please upload a photo of your Status/Band Card, Inuit ID or Métis card for identification. This will confirm your approval for membership. We will never share this information with anyone, any organization or company - it is strictly for our own records.

In Canada, you must charge HST if you are a registered business and have a sales income over $30,000 in one year. If you are on reserve, please make sure that you are in compliance with your territory's own rules and policies. In your vendor dashboard, there is a button that determines whether or not your store will charge and remit taxes.

The Indigenous Arts Collective of Canada (IndigenARTSY), a non profit organization, is a third party hosting site for multiple vendors of Indigenous arts. We do not set or enforce tax policies. All purchases are between the vendor and the buyer. We do not hold, package, ship or maintain management of any products in the vendor’s store.

All tax inquiries, requests for returns, refunds, delivery issues and all related issues are managed by you – the vendor of the store.

  • The customer buys your product and pays IACC (IndigenARTSY) directly.

  • IACC (IndigenARTSY) will pay you (the vendor) directly.

IACC (IndigenARTSY) does NOT make any money from artists. We only hope to sustain this website by taking a 4% for administrative (creating your store, payouts, maintenance etc.) and will collect 4% to cover the fees incurred by point of sale services (PayPal, Square, etc.). This is an introductory offer. Our Indigenous women led, not-for-profit mandate is to empower and contribute to the economic development of Indigenous artists.
