Leah Kanerahtaroroks Diome is a Kanien’kéha:ka woman of the Wolf Clan, a mother, artist, wise woman herbalist, holistic wellness nurse coach, naturopath and yogini from the Kanien’kéha:ka Territory of Kahnawake, Québec. Her diverse background in the healing arts draws from both Eastern and Western medicine and is guided by Onkwehonwe:neha*​principles.

She also incorporates holistic approaches to health, spirituality, well-being and the natural world in all her practices. Despite having limited opportunities for artistic expression growing up, the longing for it was always there. Leah was thankful when she was afforded the opportunity to take part in choirs, drama productions, dance, beadwork, and sewing. After much soul searching, in her later years, the call to create drew her to the inherent balance she finds in painting. (*Onkwehonwe:neha: an Indigenous person who is authentic/true to themselves.)
