Born in 1984, from Treaty 8 Territory in Northern Alberta, Marilyn Goodswimmer is an accomplished ceramic artist celebrated for her devotion to the arts.
Her academic journey, marked by the Dean’s Honor Roll placement, has been further distinguished by numerous awards and scholarships recognizing her artistic talent and commitment. Goodswimmer founded Mother Earth Ceramic Studio, located in Red Deer, Alberta.

Through her studio, she brings to life unique ceramic vessels that blend traditional hand-building techniques with the precision of wheel-throwing.
Her work reflects a deep connection to the earth, honoring her heritage while celebrating the artistry of form and function.
