I am a Tsartlip First Nations artist. I have grown up learning my culture, ceremony and fortunately different arts. My mother taught me how to bead, knit, sew and paint.

I learned to cedar weave by my mentor Leonard Williams. We worked on a BC Culture Days project together and it was so meaningful and is one of my most memorable moments.

Most of my work comes from a place of activism, emotion, deep expression of self that is vulnerable but also empowering.
