My name is Brandie Fong, I am a proud member of Nipissing First Nation, Ontario. I began sewing moccasins about 15 years ago and have slowly expanded my skills into beading and sewing Indigenous pieces. I carried on to teach my daughter with the help of some community members and we now both enjoy beading and sewing together.
I am also a proud sister of a member of the Canadiam Forces. I honour her by beading Poppies and donate to the Legion, each year. I have attached some photos of several of my pieces. Miigwech!
