Inuk
There are many Inuit seamstresses in my family, I learnt from my aunts and cousins. During a very dark time in my life battling depression, I needed a positive outlet. I decided that I wanted to learn how to make gorgeous items as my family have for generations.
Hand stitched traditional Inuit items is becoming a dying art. I am here because countless generations before me survived the harsh arctic. To pay tribute to them I decided to carry on their traditional styles and techniques while adding a little flare of modern style for everyone to enjoy.
