I have lost many loved ones and pets this year, too many in my books. In my grief I found that working with my hands has helped me so much.

Luckily, a community member showed me how to put the ribbon and the skirt together to become a ribbon skirt.

These skirts connect me to my Metis people and have encouraged me to learn traditional skills and heal my grief. I hope to be able to share my creations with others.
