I learned to sew from my mother and Grandmother; they taught me how to make quilts. My mother also encouraged my beadwork, and we would bead together while I visited at her house.

During the pandemic, I wanted to learn how to make my daughter and myself matching ribbon skirts and practiced by making little girl sized ones. When I completed our skirts, my daughter and I had a photoshoot for her 13th birthday, and I posted them to my Facebook page… the orders for skirts started coming in! Simialry, I started making tote bags as Christmas gifts in 2020, which grew my business faster and bigger than I had ever dreamed.

I was able to resign from my job as an early childhood educator and stay home to take care of my family. I’ve also recently started to teach ribbon tote classes and share my passion for sewing. I am still learning every day, but I like to share what I do know.
