Algonquin Odawa, Québec
I am an Algonquin Odawa mother of three who uses hand harvested porcupine quills and precious stones and crystals to make beautiful and stylish earrings.
I made my first pair of moccasin high tops at the local cultural center in my community at the age of 11 years old.
I have dabbled in creating medallions, peyote stitched feathers, ribbon skirts, ribbon vests, dream catchers, rattles, bracelets, and necklaces.
My favourite part of creating is working with the healing stones and quills.
