I am a Mi'kmaw woman of Mi'kma'ki in the community of Natoaganeg. I pride myself in being a self taught artist and crafter. I'm learning more about myself and realize that I have always had the ability to make something from nothing. I give thanks to the creator for my abilities.
I have decided to use the tools that have been given to me to bring some much needed happiness into this world. I love nature, the colours, the smells and the sounds but most of all, the peace I receive when I'm surrounded by nature. I receive energy and become rejuvenated from being outdoors. I try to reflect nature into my work in hopes of bringing its benefits to others.
